Lida R Miller

Lida Ruth (Johnston) Miller, 86, of Lancaster passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 18, 1934 in Lancaster to the Late Charles McClellan (Clell) and Edith Elenora (Azbell) Johnston. Lida attended Carroll High School where she graduated from in 1952. She worked and retired after 28 years of service at Anchor Hocking Plant 1. She enjoyed bowling on the AH Plant 1 Office Girls' league where she competed in many tournaments. Lida was a member of the Fairfield Christian Church.

Lida is survived by her husband of 40 years, Edward W. Miller; sister Alberta (Johnston) Whittington of Lancaster; step-sons Jeffrey (Donna) Miller; Bradley (Jackie) Miller; step-grandchildren Tiffany (Matt) Miller; Cory (Amber) Miller; Elise Miller; Rick Miller; Dan (Jennifer) Miller; step-great grandchildren Devin Gorman; Alyson Gorman; Melody Miller; Nickolas Miller; nephews David (Jeanne) Johnston; Raymond (Sandy) McCandlish; Steve Whittington; nieces Lisa (Will) Duvall; Brenda (David) DeLong; sister-in-law Patty (Shaw) Johnston.

Lida is preceded in death by her parents Charles (Clell) and Edith, brothers Vernon and Carroll (Bud); sister Mary (Johnston) McCandlish; brothers-in-law Lloyd McCandlish and Ned Whittington; sisters-in-law Ruby (Bell) Johnston and step-great grandson Alexander Miller.

Friends and family may visit on Saturday March 13th, 2021 from 11AM-1PM at HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME in Lancaster. Memorial service will follow at 1PM, officiated by Pastor Mark Barbee. The service will be LIVESTREAMED on the FUNERAL HOME FACEBOOK PAGE. A graveside service will take place where Lida will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Lancaster, Ohio.
