Lois Ann Upp

Lois Ann Upp, 83, passed away on Wednesday, November 15th, 2017 at the Lanfair Center. Lois was born on May 27, 1934 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Willis and Lillian Warthman. She will always be remembered for being a loving and faithful mother and grandmother.

Lois is survived by her children, Curt (Cheryl) Upp; Amy (Anthony) Blecha; grandchildren, Amber (Patrick) Gavin, Derek Upp, Lillia Sammler, Corbin Sammler, Kyanna Eppley; great-grandchildren, Madelynn Sylvia Gavin; sister Bonnie (Jon) Noice, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert L. Upp; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen (Virginia) Warthman; and son-in-law, Andrew Sammler.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 at the Lancaster United Brethren Church at 2:00PM with Pastor Greg Voight officiating. Friends may call Friday from 6-8PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME, as well as ONE HOUR PRIOR to the services on Saturday at the church. Private graveside services will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens at a later date.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Lanfair Center, as well as FairHoPe Hospice for their loving care of Lois.
