Marie D Rutherford

Marie Dell Rutherford passed away August 14, 2021. Marie was born 2.25.1920 on a farm at Bremen Rushville Line. She graduated from Rushville school in 1938. She played piano and sang for 10 years for Rushville Methodist Church and again for 20 years for Bremen Bethel Presbyterian Church. Currently a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Lancaster. Worked at Anchor Hocking Bremen Factory as a glassware cutter for 30 years. Member of Lancaster Tarhe Lions and Secretary of the club since 2001-2012.

Proceeded in death by husband George Foor, husband William Rutherford, daughter Judith (Ervin)McGregor, Parents Alta R. Barr and Jessie (Turner) Barr, Brother Lloyd Barr and good friend Larry Mason.

Survived by granddaughters Shaney (Mathew) Lowe of Decatur Alabama and Tonya (Joseph) Regiro of Tinley Park Illinois. Five great grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph, Rebecca, Shelby and Weston and many loved cousins, nieces, nephews and dog she loved so much- Zoe Beth.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday August 25, 2021 at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with burial to follow at West Rushville Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Donations can be made to Bremen Bethel Church or Lancaster Lions Club.
