Ruth Ann Conley

Ruth Ann Striff Conley, 88 of Lancaster, went home to be with her Lord Monday, March 30, 2026, at her residence. Ruth was born on December 4, 1937, in Fostoria, Ohio to the late John Lawrence Striff and Mary Naomi Omwake Striff. She graduated from Amsden High School and attended BGSU. She was employed as Executive Secretary to the President of the Lansing Michigan Regional Chamber of Commerce, retiring in 1993. Ruth was a Charter Member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Lansing Michigan and member of Fairfield Christian Church, Lancaster. Ruth Ann and Dick retired to Lancaster to spend time with family in 1997. She loved backpacking with her family in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming. She was also an avid collector of wildlife art and antique glass.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Louis Conley, parents, granddaughter, Ashlee Nichole, brother, Johnny L Striff., sister-in-law, Janis Spooner and brother-in-law, Dr. James Conley.

She is survived by sons Lee R. Conley and Ken A. (Rachel) Conley all of Lancaster; grandchildren; Cameron James, Landon Thomas, Abigail Renee’ and Evan Michael. Also surviving are sister, Janet (Tom) Griffin, nieces and nephews.

Burial of ashes will be later in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Fostoria, Ohio.
