Tonya Ann McCoy

Tonya Ann McCoy, 59, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at The James Cancer Hospital at Ohio State. Tonya was born on September 2, 1963 in Lancaster, Ohio. She was a seamstress for many years at Perfect Weddings. Tonya loved cooking and sewing, but most of all loved her family.

Tonya is survived by her husband, Martin McCoy; children, Shane McCoy and Taylor McCoy; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Trevor and Mattox; sister, Lisa Henderson; niece, Mandy and nephew, Justin; mother in law, Betty McCoy; sisters in law, Penny and Kitty; longtime friend, Kenny Henderson, as well as many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Vermillion; mother, Patricia Francis and step-father, Jack Francis; and her two sons, Drew McCoy and Christopher McCoy; nephew, Kenny Henderson III and father in law, William R. McCoy.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 130PM at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster, officiated by Pastor Paul Wymer. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11AM-1PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the James Cancer Hospital for all the loving care they gave to Tonya.
