

Vivian L. Greiner, 89, of Lancaster went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 20th, 2016 at the Lanfair Center. Vivian was born on July 30th, 1927 in North Berne, Ohio to the late John D. and Ethel Mea Roberts. She was an employee for many years at AT&T. Vivian enjoyed clogging and gardening in her free time. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was in the Elizabeth’s Circle. She was also a member of the Lancaster Old Car Club. Vivian will always be remembered for being a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a very kind, loving, Christian woman that lived by the Bible and was loved by all that knew her.
Vivian is survived by her sister; Kathleen (Grant) Sewel; children, Linda (Tom) Simmons and Steve (Carol) Greiner; grandchildren, Nick (Angie) Greiner and their children, Kalan, Addyson and Levi; Heather (Brian) Rice and their children, Trinity and Mikayla; Scott (Christine) Simmons and their children, Morgan and Landon; step-grandchildren, Gary (Janna) Gugliemotto and their children, Sophia and Gabriella; Terry (Gianna) Thompson and their children, Ryan, Tyler and Mikayla; Samuel (Barb) Zangmeister and their children Samuel and Nathan; Josh (Lynn) Zangmeister; and Becky Zangmeister and her child, Aiden; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. Greiner; as well as brothers, Harold and Vernon Arter.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 at 11AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Russell Johnson officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8PM at the funeral home; as well as 1HR prior to the services on Tuesday. Interment is to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
