Gordon was also predeceased by his close friend Patricia. As well as many relatives and friends, Gordon leaves behind his brother Stan Smith (Diane) and Marie’s sister, Ida Patton (Eric).

Your presence is warmly welcomed at the Celebration of Gordon Smith. We invite all family and friends who knew Gordon or his family to join us in honouring and celebrating his life. The service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 1:00PM at North Langley Community Church, 21015 96 Avenue, Langley, with refreshments to follow. For those unable to attend, a live Stream channel will be on the NLCC.ca site

The family will hold a private service on Friday, January 3, 2025, for immediate family members at Henderson’s Langley Funeral Home. The family welcomes others to join them for the Graveside Service where Gordon will be laid to rest next to the love of his life, Marie. Please meet at Langley Lawn Cemetery located at 4393 208th before 10:45 as the family will be arriving shortly after that time.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation and/or BC Cancer Foundation are appreciated.

As we navigate this profound loss, we acknowledge that each of us grieves in our own way. Yet, we, Gordon’s children, remain united in our shared commitment to honouring dad’s memory.
