

He is survived by his loving wife, Lilly, of 59 years, his son Tony (Karen), daughters Suzette (Noel) and Cindy, as well as 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Hank is also survived by his sisters Blanche and Rose, as well as a large extended family. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Dr. Jean-Baptiste and Marie, brothers Paul and Joseph, sister Marie and son-in-law Bill.
Henri was born in Domremy, Saskatchewan and moved with his family to Cloverdale, BC in 1954. His working career began in Whitehorse before moving to Vancouver Island to work in the logging industry. He married his wife, Lilly, and started his family, moving to Fort Langley and continuing his lifelong career with McDonald Cedar Products (Interfor) with most of his days spent driving a lumber truck.
Henri enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors, gardening, hunting, fishing, riding his quad, but mostly the time spent with his family. He loved to reminisce about his life and his many road trips across Canada and throughout the United States. He was known to all as a great storyteller.
He will be dearly missed.
A prayer service will be held June 22, 2023, at 7:30pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Langley, BC. The Funeral Mass will be held on June 23, 2023, at 12:00pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, followed by a Christian Burial at Gardens of Gethsemani in Surrey, BC.
