

Ken was born at home in Langley on May 26, 1938 to William and Annie Chrystall. He was the youngest in a family of six. He married Colleen (McCann) February 22, 1958 and they had 2 sons Keith and Roger. They were married 65 years. He was a longtime resident of Langley only moving away at 59 years of age. He and Colleen then moved to the Shuswap area for 5 years, then to Harrison Hot Springs for 12 years and finally to a gated community in Chilliwack.
Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved seeing his grandchildren as they grew up and seeing his first great granddaughter Auriella was a great joy.
Ken spent most of his working years as a carpenter and tinsmith in the Modular Construction industry.
The favourite times of his life were the ones spent riding his 1982 Honda Aspencade motorcycle with Collleen as the passenger. They travelled to Alberta and Saskatchewan, and to 22 states of the U.S.A. The longest being a six-week trip in 1982 to Florida and back.
Ken is survived by his wife Colleen, sons Keith (Belinda) and Roger, Grandchildren Evan (Brittany), Sylvia (Saul) and Mike (Alicia) and 16-month-old Great Granddaughter Auriella.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, his 5 siblings and his daughter-in-law Pat.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no service.
