What can I say about Bob! Well, he drove me crazy at times but I loved him anyway. Family was important, his love for Stephanie and Melissa was very much first and foremost in all that he did & he never stopped showing how much he loved both of you, but he loved his extended family also. 
I was lucky enough to spend a week with Bob just before he left us.We had a great time, long talks covering everything, especially when we were kids and he came out to stay with us in the summer.We didn't always agree on the details but that's what makes a family. We spent an afternoon at White Rock at the pier eating a huge bowl of clam chowder and just staring out at the water, Bob loved it there and so did I. I will cherish the time we spent together and am grateful that we were able to have it. I will miss his calls late at night, his laugh and his big bear hugs, but he will always be with us, in our memories and our thoughts. We must keep strong as he would want us to and we will always be in touch. Family is important & special no matter how far apart we are.

I only got to meet Bob a few times, but in those few times it was very clear how much he loved his daughters, and how much they loved him.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie's Dad, but, I have known Stephanie for the past 3-4 years now and she is an amazing young woman...her zest and passion for life is abundant and from what I have heard about her Dad, I know this is an attribute she gained from his love and guidance. 
He will always remain in a very special spot in your heart Steph, one that no one else will ever fill...remember that when the dark days set in, he is with you and would want you to be happy and when you see the "feathers", feel comforted in knowing he is with you, guiding you in death, just as he did in life...

Over the past years I havent seen or spent much time with Bob. Recently though, Im very grateful to say that I did get the opportunity at his birthday party and through his visits at the salon.In the salon I was helping him grow out his hair (as best as possible) to recapture his youth! Although his illness may have been wreaking havok on him physically it couldn't destroy his sense of humour! Always the character! Every visit he had a smile and always left me laughing! One thing Bob said that sticks with me today is: 'family is important and you must put the effort into it'. It is very clear how important Melissa and Stephanie were to him. He proudly displayed love for both during his visits. He will definetly be missed. I'm glad of his insurgence into my life and I hope to continue building strong friendships with my cousins throughout the years. Love you both, Melissa and Stephanie, and I look forward to reconnecting!

I only met Robert just before and at the wedding.  One the thing that became very apparent was his amazing relationship with Steph.  He was a bit emotional during the wedding rehearsal, where he gave Steph away.  I remember thinking to myself â€œI hope I one day have that same magic with my kids.â€  That in itself, to me, constitutes a great life.

We are so sorry for your loss and sorry we didn't keep in touch with your dad, he was truly a great guy and have such fond memories of the time we did spend together. If ever there is anything we can do for either of you please don't hesitate to ask, we'll always be here for you and please keep in touch.

I didn't get to see Bob very much, only once every couple of years at the family picnics we would have. Steph and Melissa, I love you guys, and you are both surrounded by people who love you.
