Donald Raymond Burns

He is survived by his three children, Angela Brown, Aimee Rose, and Robert Burns. He also left behind 5 grandchildren, and 7 siblings.

He was the youngest child of Robert and Myrtle Burns of Everett, WA, both deceased.

Don was a longtime Whidbey Island resident. He was a retired Chief Engineer with Foss Maritime Company, and an Inland Boatmen’s Union member. He was happiest when he was on a boat, enjoying the water. He was a generous and fun-loving man, a proud father, and a loyal friend to many. He left us unexpectedly and far too soon.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial reception, bring and share, for food and sharing favorite memories of Don. It will be held on Saturday, September 21, at 2:00, at the Holmes Harbor Rod and Gun Club.
