

Julia was born on October 12, 1933 in Cut Bank Montana, the youngest of 9 children born to Lloyd and Lucy Brown.
Julia had a full and active life in the Whidbey Community. She was a cook at the old Clinton Coffee shop for many years. She was Mother Adviser for Rainbow Girls in the 1980's. Julia was President of the Clinton Progressive Club and also ran the Friday night Bingo in Clinton for many years. On Wednesday nights you could always catch her at the Senior Center playing Bingo.
Julia is survived by her only sister Edith Echert of Conrad, Montana and her children; Jenny Gabelein of Clinton, Marjorie Hornshaw (Terry) of Clinton, Patty Devereaux of Clinton, Linda Wallace (Jay) of Clinton, Bonnie Nichols (Peter) of Greenbank, Howard Lambert (Becky) of New Mexico, Sandy Tolen (Ray) of Denver, Phyllis Furman (Kenny) of Freeland and Judy Stedman of Tennessee. Julia also has numerous Grandchildren, and was proud of becoming a Great Great Grandmother twice this year.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday May 10th at 1:00pm at the Bayview Cemetery. There will be a Pot Luck gathering at the Bayview Senior Center after the service for time to share and remember.
There will also be a memorial in June at the annual Family Reunion to announced by Linda Wallace.
