Angela Olson Zimmer

Battle Creek, MI, formerly of Lansing

Age 48, passed away suddenly at her home on December 31, 2011. She was born March 19, 1963 in Lansing the daughter of Jerry and Margaret (Lamphere) Olson. She married Douglas Zimmer on August 21, 2010 and he survives. Also surviving are her father, Jerry, sons, Erik and Andrew Olson, step-son, Josiah Zimmer, sisters, Tracey (Luis) Suarez and Melanie Olson, brother, Daniel Olson, nephews, Joseph and Alexander Suarez and her Lamphere cousins. Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret in 2000 and niece, Kristina Marie Suarez in 1988. Angela graduated from LCC Nursing Program and was a Registered Nurse at Sparrow Hospital for many years. She was a very devoted wife and mother who cherished her family and spending time with them. She also loved spending time with friends and will always be remembered for her laughter that brightened the room. She loved the beach and anywhere there was water and loved music, especially Queen. Angela’s family will celebrate her life on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 5:00 P.M. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing.
