Visitation will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at South Church in Lansing on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Denyes officiating.
Ann was born in Lansing to Robert Johnson and Beatrice (McCloy) Bennett on September 15, 1940. She went to Eastern High School and graduated in 1958. She retired from Weyco Inc and was previously employed at the Michigan Education Special Services Association. She enjoyed golf and accomplished three holes-in-one at Grand Ledge Country Club where she was a member. Ann was a member of South Church in Lansing where she married Harry L. Wiersma on July 29, 1960.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Robert from Potterville and Beatrice from Grayling. She is survived by her husband Harry; daughters Marie (Jeff) Nelsen of Michigan, Rebecca Boone of Mississippi and Deborah (Paul) Piotrowski of Tennessee. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Carrie (Mark) Ricketson of Michigan, Simone (Robert) Sterner of New York, Erik Nelsen of Michigan and Austin Boone of Mississippi.
