April Mae Jones

April graduated from Sexton High School and pursued a degree in Culinary Arts at Lansing Community College. She had a passion for cooking and was a chef, both professionally and for her family. April enjoyed gardening, cooking and was a big supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. April always had a smile on her face and could lift anyone up when they were feeling down. Being the social butterfly she was, she never missed a chance to spend time with her family and friends, hosting a multitude of events and BBQ's. April's vibrant, bubbly personality will be deeply missed. She was a light to this world and will be forever loved by all who knew her.

April was the beloved wife of John Jones of 22 years; loving mother of Charles James-Dale Moore, John Duane Jones Jr. and Holly Lee-Anne Jones; dear sister of Justin Glumm, Tiffany Anne (Ben) Cullimore, Anthony James (Stephanie) Cullimore, Courtney Karen (Joe) Powell, Adam Gerald Flores, Alicia Ashley Taylor, Montoya Cherelle Taylor and the late Andre DeShon Taylor; cherished daughter of James (Karen) Cullimore and Lenora (Michael) Cauther; and fond aunt, niece, cousin and friend to many.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Veterans Memorial Gardens, 2074 Aurelius Rd. Holt, MI 48842.
