Bertha Agnes Thompson

Age 74 died December 12, 2014 in Lansing Michigan. She was born in Millbrook, Michigan on July 28, 1940 to William and Wilma (Meyers) Donald. She drove a school bus for the Waverly Community Schools for almost 30 years. She was a dedicated mother, homemaker, and a Cub Scout leader for many years. She lived her life to the fullest and will be deeply missed.

Bertha was preceded in death by her husband James G. Thompson, parents and her brother Richard. She is survived by Kelly (Helene) Thompson of Tulsa, OK, Jeffery Thompson of Oneco, FL, Brad (Ricki) Thompson of Lansing, MI, James Thompson of Rodney, MI, and Tracie Thompson of Lansing, MI, grandchildren Chelsea Thompson, William Thompson, Lona Woodbury, Brooke Thompson, Larry Woodbury, Karla Thompson, Carleigh Thompson, and 3 great grandchildren.

Services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Tiffany Funeral Home 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, MI 48917. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. There will be a memorial service at her home church, Rodney United Methodist Church 12135 Charles St. Rodney, MI.
