Bobbie Jane (Barb) Hocquard, 79, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, January 8, 2016 in Lansing, MI. Bobbie was born October 13, 1936 in Greenfield, TN, the daughter of the late William and Mary Beliew. Bobbie married Kaye Don Hocquard on August 28, 1965 and raised six children. Bobbie loved her dogs and spending time on the East Coast. Above all, Bobbie loved her family. She was loved by all for her charming personality and wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Kaye Don; sons, Jim Diederichs, Todd Diederichs, Chris (Kelly) Hocquard; daughters, Terri (Jesse) Lopez, Wendy (Tom) Menacher and Staci (Ben) Mason; brother, Bill (Gloria) Beliew; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A sincere thank you to Bobbie’s special granddaughters, Suzanne (Hinman) and Katherine (Nelson) for their unwavering love and dedication to helping care for their Grams during her final days with us.
Per Bobbie’s wishes, there will be no services.
