

Bobbie Jo (Hines) Winters, 57, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2022 surrounded by her family. Born to Bobby Joe Hines and Betty Jean (Mathes) Hines on November 1, 1964, Bobbie Jo is preceded in death by both parents; her mother-in-law, Lucille (Whitney) Krepps; and her son, Andrew James Winters. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Eric Winters; her daughters Amanda (Robert) Baker, Ashley (Jaime) Taylor, Amber (Kyle) Davis, and Alexandria (Chad Chapman) Winters; her grandchildren Nevaeh, Xander, Suzanne, Rosalynn, Dominic, Elijah, Charleigh, and Noah; her sister Brenda (Patrick) Gorman; sister-in-law Julie Winters; brother-in-law Lee Krepps; and many cherished extended family and friends.
Bobbie Jo was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who spent most of her time with family. She enjoyed caring for her extensive collection of house plants, playing with her pitties, Stella and Mia, attending various events in support of her grandchildren, spending time at their cabin, crafting, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch with friends. Bobbie Jo was a dedicated civil servant who recently retired after working 30 years for the State of Michigan. She spent the bulk of her career with the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, but finished out her career with Criminal Justice Information Center of the Michigan State Police.
A visitation for Bobbie Jo will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. Following the visitation will be a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM at The Classic Pub & Grill, 16219 Old US 27, Lansing, MI 48906.
