Brenda Fay Benn

Lansing, Michigan

Age 66, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away on August 29, 2019. Born April 17, 1953 in Memphis, TN. Brenda retired in 2006 from General Motors after 32 years of service, and was a member of U.A.W. Local 1618. She was a member of Eliezer Temple Church. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking, but most of all she was a caregiver taking care of everyone.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Christian (Duana) Benn; special niece and nephew, Cassandra and Joshua; 7 grandchildren, Jemiah, Christian, Kelsey, Talisha, Lasavian, Breylen, and Mieya; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Sandra (Jerry) Pitts, Tabatha Brown, and April Brown; brother, Fernando (Cynthia) Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jean Brown; father, David Brown, Jr.; 5 siblings, Emma Sue Pendleton, Doris Candies, Kenneth Benn, Dwayne Brown, and Sherrie Marie Brown.

Visitation is from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, Sept 6, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Services will be 12:00 Noon, September 7, 2019 at Delta Center Cemetery with Bishop David Maxwell and Elder Benjamin Fomby officiating.
