Carolyn, more commonly known by the name Carna, was born and raised in Lansing, MI before settling in Wisconsin in 1955. While living in Wisconsin she met the love of her life, Tommy, on a blind date and remained married to him for 58 years. Together they had two children in Wisconsin before moving back to Michigan where they had their third child. Carna worked for Claire’s and Corey’s Jewel Box in the Lansing Mall for many years before retiring. Carna had a very strong love for her family and friends as well as her pets. She loved hosting family dinners and cheering on the Green Bay Packers, even though she was on phone duty…”Carna get the phone!”.
Carna is proceeded in death by her parents, Phil Stone, Helen (Betsy) Lovelace, and Robert Lovelace and her only daughter, Jennifer Dibean. She is survived by her husband, Tom Yanz; sons, John Yanz and Jason Yanz (Katie Gestring); brothers, Bob (Agnes) Lovelace and Harvey (Ethel) Lovelace; sister, Amanda King; son-in-law, Mark Dibean; grandchildren, Cody Dibean, Ashley Dibean (Dshar Harris), Tanner Yanz and Kai Gestring; great grandson, Armani Harris; and many nieces and nephews.
