Charla M. Dolan

Charla Mae Dolan (Napier) passed away on her favorite day of the year, Christmas day 2012 after a long battle with breast cancer. Char was born on February 25th, 1964 in Durand, Michigan. Received by her loving parents Billy Lee Napier and Kathryn L. Napier of Owosso MI. Char graduated from Perry High School in 1982. She married Stephen Dolan in 1986. Together they had two daughters; Chale’ Marie Dolan and Amanda Rochelle Dolan. Char was a devoted and loving mother, who loved spending time with her family and friends. A talented cosmetologist, Char had a lifelong passion for the beauty industry. Typical of her zest for life, she decided to change careers and follow her other passion, jewelry. Char was an excellent sales person, who managed the fine jewelry department at Macy's department store. Char is predeceased by her grandmother Bernice Brandon of Durand MI. and mother Kathryn of Owosso MI. She is survived by her daughters, Chale’ and Amanda Dolan both of Owosso MI . Her father Billy Napier of Owosso MI, sister Chicaro Napier-Hoffman and nephew Gabriel Hoffman both of Owosso MI.. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends who are spread from Owosso MI. to as far as Florida. Char’s vibrant and loving personality touched so many people she may be missed but never will be forgotten. A celebration of Char's life will be held at the Bennington Township Hall 5849 S. M-52. Owosso, MI. 48867. On the 13th day of January, 2013. Guests arrive at 1:00 PM the memorial will start at 2:00 PM. We will have a luncheon for those who wish to stay and socialize, tell stories or just find comfort in others who have been touched by Char. Family requests that in lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions in memory of Char to Shriners Hospital For Children, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago Ill. 60707. A fund raiser has been set up in her name, her love for children will reach far beyond her. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes.
