Colton Roy Cottom

Colton was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. He worked in the automotive industry, where his passion for cars blossomed. He found joy in the thrill of the open road, or just simply working on a new project at home. Colton also loved to spend time up north. He found peace in the great outdoors, whether it was the crisp air or the scenic drives, the northern landscape held a special place in his heart.

Colton was known for his generosity and warmth. He had a remarkable ability to make others feel special and valued, always ready to lend a hand or offer support. His kindness and unwavering friendship were gifts that will be deeply missed.

Colton is survived by his parents: Bradley (Michelle) Cottom Sr. and Melissa (Kevin) Nichols; siblings: Alissa Cottom, Chloe Culver, Kelsey Reasoner, Alyson Cottom and Bradley Cottom Jr. Step-sister Meghan Gilmore, Step-brother Brandon Towner; nephews: Kayden, Aidan, Isaiah and Idris; nieces: Rylee, Braylynn, Niko, Imari, Abigail and Aubrey; and special cousin Stasi Starick. Aunts and uncles Chad (Nicole) Cottom, Corinda (Mark) Huss, Alicia (Darius) Knox and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his sister: Katrina Cottom.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
