Constance Abbott

Passed July 21st 2017 peacefully in her home. Her story began June 28th 1942. Father Joseph and mother Trevedon Ackerman Glass. She graduated from Williamston High School in 1960. She Married Robert Abbott Jan 1963, and had 3 children. Connie worked as a bank teller, book keeper, and in data entry/audit. She retired in 2008 while living in Clearwater Florida and returned to Lansing, Michigan in July of that year. She was active in her church Immaculate Heart of Mary South Lansing. She is preceded in death by her Father, Joseph; Mother, Trevedon; brother, Ronald; sister, Marianna; Husband Robert. She is survived by her children, James Abbott (Wendy), David Abbott (Leslie), and Pamela Abbott Cole, her brothers Chris Glass, Larry Glass, Sisters Miki Nygren and Kelliann Hall. Connie has 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way, and her aunt Rosemary Canfield. Connie enjoyed fishing, bowling and bingo. Her favorite activity was to watch the Detroit Tigers play whenever they were on, and enjoyed it when she had a chance to attend baseball game in person. She was a strong and demanding person that expected nothing but the best from everyone. Memorial service will be held at a date to be determined.
