I've been Connie's neighbor for almost 40 years...first let me thank her family for sharing her with mine. She put her loving arms around us from the day we moved in! She was a mom to me because I lost mine so long ago. She was my three sons grandma..because they no longer had one. We were not part of the neighborhood watch..because we didn't need anyone else...lol I will so miss the long talks ...dont worry I will still be talking to you ! Love always...R.I.P I will miss you so!

It is hard to put into words how bad this one hurts..There wasn't a sweeter person in the world then Connie. You were way more than a neighbor to the Cleven Family...You were our family! I have lived away from home going on 15 years..One thing that  stayed constant in my life was when I would come home, I ALWAYS looked forward to our visit. I loved sharing what was going on in my life with you. You genuinely cared and you were truely a great listener. I also must add, I always found it funny when you and Pat would bicker about how the story he was telling me was wrong or he had already told me the same story before. You will truly be missed and I do not have enough words to explain how the loss of you makes me feel. I would do anything to have one more visit...one more conversation...one more hug...and I have one unanswered question...How come you never told our parents when the Cleven boys would throw one of our epic house parties? We love you Connie...Thank you for everything!

Well where do I begin I guess to start my heart is heavy with grief I feel like I just lost my mom again ; first it was pat now connie I knew this day would come just didn't want it to! Been connie's niebor for forty years she treated my three son's just like if they were her grandkids and she could never know how much that meant to me and my family; I'll miss all the times I would go over to her house and sit and talk about just anything she was always worried about any health issues I was having probably the nurse in her lol.  And I'll always cherish the times when I was able to keep their driveway clear open of snow always felt like I was doing it for my own mom and dad! All I know now is I feel like there's a black hole here in my nieborhood and I don't even want to stay here anymore. Every time I look up at her bedroom window and not see her tv going I have to wipe a tear out of my eye. Connie I'm sure going to miss you but I know you're not in pain anymore!!

Your Mom was so special to me, my life was enriched by the many years of working together and our friendship!  The added benefit was in getting to know all of you.  I will miss your Mom so much and I'm sorry that I can't attend the Mass celebrating her life.  I will keep all of you in my heart and in my prayers.

So sorry of your loss, if I'm not mistaken.  I believe Mrs. Moynahan was my lunch lady at Waverly Public Schools (Colt Elementary). Very nice person who always looked after us and took great care watching us as children enjoying recess.

Connie was often like a second Mother to me. She was my Mother’s best friend. We lived across the street for 17 years and our homes/lives became intertwined. We went to the airport to watch planes land, we buried dead birds over and over again trying to get the Mass right, we took garter snakes found in the yard into the house to show Connie and we celebrated with pizza on Friday nights because we had ALL made it through another week!  Connie was an anchor for my Mother, an anchor for our family, and, obviously, an anchor for the neighbors. Missed?  Absolutely. Blessed to have known her? Absolutely!  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Kathy and family, I was so sorry to read about Mrs. Moynahan's passing, and I am holding you in my prayers.  My memories of her when we were kids are so strong; she was one of the foundations of the neighborhood from the beginning in the late 50s.  I always admired her because she was a nurse.  Other moms in the neighborhood looked up to her and would consult her about those kid medical issues that came up every day.  She and my mom were close, and she helped so much when Brent was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.  It was a scary time, and Connie was a huge support.  She was a strong figure for your family, but she was also a support for others in so many ways.  Wishing you peace.  Stacey
