

of Lansing, MichiganBeloved father, grandfather, uncle, friend and devoted husband left us on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 to be with his loving wife, who preceded him in death just 29 days ago. He touched our lives with so much laughter and support. He was always there with his hand out to help whomever and had trust in so many people. David was born September 8, 1925 in Lansing, Michigan and was the son of Irving and Airabell (Pringle) Richey. He worked as a foreman for Young Brothers & Daley for 42 years. After retirement he worked part time at K-Mart for 3 years. David was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and was in the South Pacific. He loved to bowl, golf and fish with his brother. Surviving are his sister, Deloris (Curmet) Fisher; sister-in-law, Joanne Richey; daughter, Peggy (Ken) Kiwala; son, Rick Many; grandchildren, Scott, Jeff, Jennifer, Koleen (David), Kim; great-grandson, Kolin; daughter-in-law, Pam Many; many special nieces and nephews; special friends, Sue Fruin and Rick Fruin, who he loved as a son; Angie Scott and many caring neighbors. Preceded in death by his wife, Phylis in 2008, son, Robert Many in 1993, brother, Richard D. Richey in 2007, great-granddaughter, Hopein 2007. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, February 29, 2008 with Funeral Services 1:00 PM Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 West Saginaw, Lansing 48917. Interment is Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Special Thank You to the Eaton Community Hospice caregivers and Heartland Hospice.
