Dewel "Dick" R. Hogan

Dewel “Dick” R. Hogan, 89, died February 1, 2015 in Charlotte, Michigan. He was born January 31, 1926 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Humphrey and Tilda (Martin) Hogan.

Dewel was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He retired from Atlas Drop Forge after 30 years of service. Dewel liked to travel in his motorhome with his family and friends.

Dewel is survived by two daughters, Jannie A. (Ron) Todd and Rexanna Swenson; three grandchildren, Ronald Todd Jr., Tony Curry, and Jason Todd; eight great grandchildren, Sean Curry, Summer Marie Curry, Kelcy Todd, Emma Todd, McKenzie Todd, Caleb Todd, Logan Todd, and Lukas Todd; and two sisters Ouida Lewis and Bonnie Shinall.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Parker Memorial Baptist Church, 1902 E. Cavanaugh, Lansing, MI, officiated by the Rev. D. L. Green. Interment will take place immdediately following the service at Deepdale Memorial Gardens, Lansing, Michigan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
