

Lansing, MichiganDon passed away December 11, 2007 the day before his 79th birthday. Born December 12, 1928 in Lansing, MI. Don was honored Sept. 25, 2007 for his dedication to the business and sport of motorcycling by Michigan?s governor and legislature. Don,
for 35 years, was Executive Director of the Michigan Motorcycle Dealers Asso;
30 years Director of the Pontiac Silverdome Amateur Supercross Championship; 30 years chairman of the Silverdome Supercross Ticket Sales; 12 years Michigan ORV Trail Advisory Board Member; 10 years Elected American Motorcycle Asso. Congress; 10 years A.M.A. District 14 Membership Chairman. Don was awarded the Detroit Area Associated Motorcycle Clubs Outstanding Motorcyclist award and the Cycle Conservation Club Cycle Conservationist of 1990 award. Don loved motorcycling, boating, waterskiing and snowmobiling. He was a veteran, serving with the U.S. Air Force. He was a active member of the Wally Byam Airstream Club. Don was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Craig, and his parents, Byron and Margaret Craig. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Geraldine H. ?Jerry? Craig, and his daughter-in-law, Barbara E. Craig; aunt, Joan Cushman; several cousins, many friends, and his pet dogs Hope and Merlin.
Visitation will be from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Friday with Services 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 15, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 West Saginaw, with Pastor Dave Leisman of Valley Farms Baptist Church officiating.
Interment Deepdale Memorial Park with Military Honors by Morley Oates V.F.W. Post #701. We would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that cared for Don. Contributions made to the Breslin Cancer Center in memory of Don.
