

Donald George McLaughlin Lansing Age 86, passed away November 10, 2012. Born October 14, 1926 in Detroit, MI to John & Goldie (Martin) McLaughlin. Donald went to school in Detroit and Lansing. He operated the concession stand at the State Capitol Building from 1968 -1981. He also worked at Marbles Manufacturing in Sturgis, MI for 12 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #66. Surviving are his wife Revena, who he meet Nov. 10, 1945; 2 children, Diana Mosher of Lansing, Rev. John (Lori) McLaughlin of Stockton, CA; 7 grandchildren, Nicole VanZwoll of Mason, Jason (Jenni) Mosher, and Adam Mosher both of Grand Ledge; Michael, Kelle, Stephanie, and Eric McLaughlin all of Stockton, CA; 3 great-grandchildren, Megan & Josh VanZwoll of Mason, and Connor Mosher of Grand Ledge; 2 sisters, Everlyn McLaughlin of South Lyon, and Dorothy (Bill) Parmentier of Plymouth; and friends, Leona Williams of South Lyons, Susan Ellsworth, and David Brown both of Lansing. Memorial Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 8, at the Central United Methodist Church, 215 N. Capital Ave. Lansing with Rev. Ron Brooks officiating. Donald was buried at Novesta Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Central United Methodist Church, Hospice of Lansing, or the Capital Area Health and Rehab in memory of Donald.
