Passed away November 30, 2010 and is now singing with the angels. Born June 19, 1930 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana the eldest to Lyle and Thelma Reynolds. Dottie was a 1948 graduate of Lansing Sexton High and had an avid interest in theater and loved music. She was proud of her involvement in the Lansing Civic Players and participated as a singer in the 1991 production of Social Security Scandals. Dottie enjoyed taking acting and singing classes at LCC where she participated in several productions. Surviving are her husband, William “Bill”, whom she married on June 27, 1953; 3 daughters, Patricia (Dennis) Delaney, Barbara Suska and Sharon Suska; 1 son, Robert Suska; 3 grandchildren, Ann (Scott) Sarber, David and Ryan Delaney; 2 great-grandchildren, Nolan and Graham Sarber; 3 sisters, Natalie (Paul) Dean, Trudie (Steve) Moon and Cheryl Hagerman. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 4, 1:00 PM at Grace United Methodist Church, 1900 Boston Blvd, Lansing with Jane Ellen Johnson, officiating. The family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312 or Grace United Methodist Church, 1900 Boston Blvd., Lansing, MI 48910 in memory of Dottie.
