Eugenia "Jean" Marie Cusick

Eugenia “Jean” Cusick passed away on April 20, 2015. Jean was born on May 24, 1937 in Columbus, OH to Paul & Eileen Stoll. She attended St. Johns High School in Jackson (class of 1955) and then went on to get a degree in teaching from Siena Heights University and a master’s degree in education from Eastern Michigan University. She taught elementary school at St. Johns and in the Jackson and Vandercook Lake Public School Districts before becoming a Uniserv Director for the Michigan Education Association. She enjoyed watching basketball, warm weather, sewing and reading. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Becky) and son-in-law Dale; granddaughters, Sarah and Dana; very special friends/relatives, Ted Cusick, Doug Riley and Cathy Davis; brothers, Gerry and Paul Stoll and sister, Mary (Stoll) Christmas; several nieces and nephews and many friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2:00pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sparrow Home Hospice or to the Ann Graham Internship Fund through the MSU College of Education.
