Floren Gedeon

She is survived by her husband, Bishara Gedeon; 5 children and their spouses, Edward and Rose, Raymond and Patricia, Rene, Nassim, and Marlene and Auni Khleif; 6 siblings, Noha (Leftar) Manuel, Deeb (Venette) Mekhayel, Samir (Kamle) Mekhayel, Monib (Naly) Mekhayel, Lamia (Nimer) Haddad, and Simon Mekhayel; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Warda Mekhayel and sisters, Victoria Hasbany and Mounira Mekhayel.

Floren was a feisty woman who loved her family more than anything. She loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her loved ones and welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. Floren was the family matriarch and lived life to the fullest. She also enjoyed taking trips to the casino, large gatherings and most of all, she cherished her family.

A visitation for Floren will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 West Saginaw Street, Lansing, MI 48917. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Melkite Catholic Church, 725 W Mt. Hope Ave., Lansing, MI 48910. Following the service, Floren will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery, 2520 W Willow St., Lansing, MI 48917.
