Frederick Delaney

of Lansing, MichiganAge 76, our loving husband, father and grandfather, went to be with the Lord, Monday, October 8, 2007. Born July 29, 1931 in Lansing, Michigan, Frederick was the son of Frederick and Catherine Delaney. Mr. Delaney was a member of St. Therese of Liseux Parish. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired from General Motors after 40 ½ years of service. Preceded in death by his wife, Delores of 46 years, son, Danny and 1 great-grandson. Surviving are his 8 loving sons, Steve (Eileen), Patrick (Anna), Fred (Sharon), Martin, Jerry, Nick (Sharon), Eric (Bonnie), and Andy (Angie) Delaney; 5 brothers and sisters; 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many friends. Mr. Delaney will surely be missed by all. Visitation will be 5-8PM Friday, October 19, 2007 with a 7PM Vigil Service at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw Hwy, Lansing 48917. A Funeral Mass will be 10:00AM Saturday, October 20, 2007 at St. Therese of Liseux, 102 W. Randolph, Lansing, 48906, with Fr.Larry Delaney presiding. Viewing will be from 9 to 10 A.M. Saturday at church. Interment St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military honors by Morley Oates V.F.W. Post #701. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, 1210 West Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, 48915 in memory of Frederick.
