Gary E. Ballard, 66, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away July 14, 2014. He was born on July 18, 1947 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Earl and Florence (Bailey) Ballard. Gary was an excellent bowler and cook. He liked his firearms. He also loved racing, from remote control cars to NASCAR.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Susan Ballard; daughter, Michelle Heil; son, Grant (Brenda) Ballard; stepchildren, Shawn Schmitz and Dawn Schmitz; grandchildren, Josh, Nick, Justin, and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Baily, Austin, Leila, and Zoie; sister, Judy Powers; and several nieces and nephews.
No services are being held.
