Gayle Lynne Rogers

Gayle Lynne Rogers, born March 24, 1958, passed away on February 11, 2022 at the age of 63. She passed away at home with her husband by her side and surrounded by family. An angel spread her wings and ascended to Heaven to be with her family and friends that preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, William "Bill" Rogers. Their love began as high school sweethearts and blossomed into a love many admired. A love that will continue until they are reunited.

Gayle is survived by her three daughters: Billie Jo Rogers, Lynn Highfill, and Katelynn Rogers- who always knew they could count on their mother always being there for them with loving arms wide open. She was also blessed with many grandchildren: Michael, Chelsey, Brittany, Savannah, and Riley; and great-grandchildren: Navaeh, Harmoney, Dom, Brooklyn, Isaiah, and Jaxsyn. She loved and cherished each with all of her heart

She is also survived by her beloved mother, Lucille Whitney; her sisters, Jayna Whitney and Stacy sherman; brother-in-law, Doug (Deb) Rogers; sister-in-law, Wanda (Jeff) Bancroft; and many nieces and nephews that she loved.

The family will greet friends from 12:oo noon until time of memorial service at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Private inurnment at a later date.
