Gerald Bruce Mannausa

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence R. Mannausa, M.D. and his wife, Debra Alden. He is survived by his mother, Carol, his brothers, Robert Lawrence and Thomas James and his children, Danielle, Katherine and Matthew and his two granddaughters, Hayden and Harper.

His family moved to East Lansing where Jerry grew up. He graduated East Lansing HigH School in 1977. He played for the Trojan Football team where he received the Sparkplug Award. During his high school summers Jerry went to Culver Military Academy’s summer program. He loved Culver and was very proud of graduating in 1976.

After high school, he went to Colorado State University for one year and then transferred to Western Michigan University from which he graduated. While there he met his future wife, Debra Alden. He then went to Cooley Law School and graduated in 1984. After passing the Bar Examination, he practiced law and managed Hillcrest Village Apartments and several other properties until his death.

Jerry will be sorely missed by his family and his wonderful long-time friend, Judy Lee, M. D.

Jerry will be interred at Delta Center Cemetery with Debra.
