Gregory (Greg) George Ezop passed away September 10, 2025, at the age of 68. He was born July 27, 1957, in Saginaw, Michigan to Harry and Florence (Kopinski) Ezop. After graduation, Greg completed training for Certified IT Technician. He married Deborah Burrows in June 1988 in Lansing, Michigan.
Greg’s love of the food industry began at this family-owned bar and restaurant, Harry’s Bar in Saginaw, Michigan. At various fine-dining restaurants in Flint, Michigan, his positions included bartender, head waiter, restaurant manager and IT manager. For the last 13 years, he worked for Team Schostak as an IT Tech.
Greg’s hobbies included golfing and watching sports, especially the Detroit Tigers and MSU basketball. He enjoyed road trips and exploring new restaurants, walking with his best bud, Abbey, and, most of all, spending time with his family. He was a jokester, a generous, fun-loving and genuine man. He had a charismatic smile, and you knew you would like him as soon as you met him.
Greg was predeceased by his loving wife, Deborah (August 22, 2022); parents Harry and Florence Ezop; and sister, Christine Chambers Novak (March 17, 2003). Surviving are his sisters, Patricia (Mike) Forster and Judith Ezop; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; in-laws, Jan (Terry) Smith, Mike (Kathy) Burrows and Paul (Pat) Burrows; and his loyal dog, Abbey.
