Passed into the next life on November 20, 2011; born August 20, 1923 in White Oak Township. Harold proudly served in the United States Army during WWII as a medic and faithfully worked for General Motors Fisher Body as a welder for 36 years. Upon retirement, he and wife Mary spent their golden years touring the country in their RV, until purchasing their winter retirement home in Arizona. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Thurlow and Lucile Williams, brother Vernon, son, Randall and his beloved wife, Mary. Surviving are his oldest son, Harold D. Williams and grandchildren, Douglas, Paul, Rachelle, Autumn and Ahnnah. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 30, at Noon at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the Chapel 1 hour prior to the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Disabled American Veterans, Capitol City Chapter Eight, PO Box 24151, Lansing, MI 48909 in memory of Mr. Williams.
