Hazel M Trask Laurich

Lansing, MI

Born July 8, 1932 in Lansing, MI, the daughter of Merrill and Gertrude (Beebe) Trask, passed away February 19, 2012 at the age of 79. Mrs. Laurich retired from the State of Michigan’s Dept. of Licensing and Regulation after many years of service. She served as treasurer of the State of Michigan Retirees Assoc., and was an active member of the ABWA Virgo Chapter and the St. Casimir Catholic Church, Altar Society. Mrs. Laurich was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved husband, Frank Valentine Laurich, Sr.. Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Elizabeth “Liz” (Paul I. Maffett) Laurich; son, Frank (Gracie) Laurich, Jr.; grandchildren, Brittney, Valentino and Fredericka; sisters, Elna Moore and Estelle Voss; along with numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends who will miss her generosity and sense of humor. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at St. Casimir Catholic Church, 815 Sparrow Ave., Lansing with the Fr. William R. Lugger as celebrant. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing with the Rosary at 6:00 PM.
