Helen Elaine Todd

Helen Elaine (Anderson) Todd, age 86 of Lansing, MI passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022. She was born on June 4, 1935 in St. Johns, Michigan the daughter of Clyde Baker Anderson and Rillla Eve (Henderson) Anderson.

Helen graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School in St. Johns, Michigan in 1954. She worked and retired from the State of Michigan after 30 years as a Data Processor. She married the love of her life, Richard Weldon Todd in June of 1960. Together they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. Helen’s faith was always important. She worked voluntarily in the children’s ministry teaching Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. She had a passion for quilting sewing and crocheting. She would knit baby blankets and throws for Sparrow Hospital, always giving back in any way that she could. Helen was such a loving mother and will be very missed by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her children; David (Patty) Comstock and Wendy (Tim) Curtis; grandchildren, Craig (LeeAnna) Comstock, Kevin (Bethany) Comstock, Brent (Lydia) Comstock, Hannah Curtis and Caleb Curtis; great-grandchildren, Rebekah, Jared, Kalyssa, Aurora, Remington, Andrew, Amaya and Asher; her brother Earl Anderson, and many nieces & nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard Weldon Todd, her parents, and seven siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Tiffany Funeral Home, Lansing with Pastor Matt Carter officiating. Visitation will be held from 12-2 PM at the Funeral Home prior to the service on Sunday. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ovid, MI.
