Helena Frances Carson

Lena was very caring and devoted to her faith. She would help anyone when needed. Lovingly known as Nani, she was the matriarch of her family. Lena graduated from Lansing Business University; she was an activist, and retired from the State of Michigan. Nani was an avid reader, enjoyed her flower gardens and dearly loved spending time with her family.

Helena is preceded in death by her brothers William, Carmel, Caesar, Samuel, James and John; sisters Mary, Josephine and daughter Patricia. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Julia Eldridge; children Christina (Carson) Brown and William J. Carson; grandchildren Mary (Mark) Lunetta, Dana-deceased. (Tony) Roque, James D. (Marlyn) Brown, Elizabeth (Michael) Decker and her siblings; great-grandchildren Antonina Lunetta, Alexia Lunetta, Mark Lunetta, Carmelina Roque; many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, February 1, 2017, 10 AM, at St. Mary Cathedral with
