

Henry J. "Hank" Wieferich of Dewitt, Michigan Age 73, our loving husband, dad, and grandpa went home to the Lord on November 17, 2016. Born January 13, 1943 in Shepherd, MI. Hank retired from M.S.U. with over 30 years of service. He was active at St. Therese Church as an usher, member of the choir, and with the K of C. He was a member and past-president of the M.S.U. Downtown Coaches Club. Hank enjoyed volunteering and helping others. He spent many hours woodworking, but most of all he loved his grandchildren, and his family meant everything to him.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Susan M.; 3 children, Eric (Tricia) Wieferich, Shelly (Lee) Gullett, Brad (Michelle) Wieferich; 9 grandchildren, Erin, Ryan, & Jenna Wieferich; Allison, Joseph, & Robert Gullett; and Nicklaus, Jacob, & Luke Wieferich; brother, Vernon (JoAnn) Wieferich; 7 sisters, Elnora Hacker, Joyce Vibber, Armilla (DuWain) Simon, Rosella (Lyle) White, Althea (Keith) Crosslan, Caroline (Tim) Meyer, and Diane (Bob) Courter; "adopted brother," John Thomas; and many other family members and friends. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes & Henry; sisters, Mareta Arnold and Ladonna Ortiz; brother, LaVerne.
Visitation is from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. Monday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil service in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Funeral Liturgy is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at St. Therese Church, 102 W. Randolph, Lansing with Fr. John Fain presiding. Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at church.
