Its coming up to a year, a long year   I think of you daily. I tell you what is going on in my prayers. I know your still close by and you have share your protection in many ways. Some nights I go through photos and memories and there are many, life is never easy but the good thing is we remained friends. I will never forget you telling me when you seen me outside playing as a little girl in my frilly dress and bobby socks you knew you would someday marry me, you didn't even know my name...funny how God works... and that you did, but somethings don't last forever. You will remain in my prayers and thoughts  You are missed everyday. 143

We had a lot of fun times. You will be missed by all. Thanks for whoever sent me the copy of his obit keep me informed he was a fun uncle. Sorry for the loss to all his family.

I was totally in shock when I got a facebook post that you passed away. I remember all the stories we shared about the trucking days at Flying J's while eating, we would meet up when you was on a run to Dart Container, it always worked out I was heading out of town when you was coming in to town. I'm grief stricken that we lost touch. Howie you will always remain in my thoughts. We will meet again someday. Truckers live on

Many prayers sent the family of Howie. I've known him for about a year he lived in the same building as me. We shared many conversations at the coffee machine and boy he would get mad when someone would just leave a smidge of coffee in the pot, many memories of this guy, he will be missed, but we will get to still visit with his dog Dixie, we all love her and glad that we get to keep her here.

Dad its so hard to say goodbye!!! But i know your not in pain suffering anymore!!! I know i put you and mom through alot but you and mom have made the strong person i am today!!!! Ill never forgot when i had that ringtone who's Mike Jones that would make you so mad you quit calling me for awhile till i changed it and when i did my neck roll and told you to talk to the hand yea it wasnt my hand you talked to LOL!!!! Always in my heart always on my mind what am i going to do without the million phone calls a day and taking you everywhere???? Love and miss u so much!!!!!

I will always remember the younger Bob, my motorcycle buddy.  Out all night playing pinball the night his oldest son was born.  Our Halloween antics, working on our cars, to our car chases throughout the streets in Lansing.  I raise my glass of beer to my childhood friend, more than a brother in-law, he was like a brother to me.

You were one in a million, that's for sure, I knew you and Maryann, we all went to school together lived on the same street we all shared a lot of neighbor conversations, you had a contagious laugh. I havent seen you in a while but think of you and her often. You was always ready and willing to help anyone in need I remember in the winter you and I was pushing cars out one whole day. You was a genuine person with a big heart. A true friend to many. Now you walk with no pain, you will never be forgotten. I know you are looking down on your beautiful family. Now to the family of this wonderful man. Please know that you are in our Prayers and heart if you need anything and I mean anything call me ~ John 3:16

As I'm thinking of my brother a few of my favorite memories come to mind.  When we were very young my Grandmother often stayed with us when my mother was in the hospital. During one of these episodes Bob locked her in my parents bedroom, causing Grandma to declare she'd never babysit us again.  She did, we always had to hear about Bob's insurrection!  I'm don't know what possessed him to lock her in the bedroom, but Sue and I were happy we were not so inclined. He got into trouble for that one!  Another memory is one having to do with vacationing.  We spent a few summers camping at Peasant Lake, during one of those summers my father had a boat.  We were water skiing around the lake.  Bob wanted to water ski..  So being generous with advice..we told him, "whatever you do don't let go of the rope" ... off he went...he fell..he held on to that ski rope ... my father was gesturing up and down for him to let go, but he held on... when they eventually got back to shore Sue and I were in big trouble.  Dad was mad!!!
Bob was the baby in the family...he was the only boy, he was cherished by my parents.  He survived growing up with two older sisters. He became a man with a great sense of humor, a lot of forgiveness, tolerance and love.  I will miss his sardonic wit.  Love you Bob!
