James B. Munro, Jr., age 63, died October 1, 2011. He was born January 10, 1948, in Lansing, MI to James B. and Judy (Curtis) Munro, Sr. Mr. Munro honorably served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from General Motors after 32 years of service and was an avid car enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are his wife, Arlinda; son, James B. Munro, III; 2 step-daughters, Barb (Ron) Reed and Heather (Chad) Whitford; step-son, Christopher (Katie) Smith; 7 grandchildren; mother, Judy Munro; and one brother, John (Vickie) Munro.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. Interment will be in Hurd Cemetery, DeWitt Township, MI. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
