Janet Walker

Janet was born June 8, 1935 in Lansing, Michigan to Lester and Mary (Tamblyn) Walker and passed away on June 20, 2011. Janet was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She is survived by her brother, Ronald (Barbara) Walker of Virginia; Sister-in-law, Nancy Walker; Niece, Tamara Walker; 2 Nephews, Jeffrey (Toni) Walker and Glen (Stacy) Walker; and her special care-giver, Andrea Harden. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas Walker. Janet was an elementary school librarian, and was active in the Lansing Civic Players Guild and the Riverwalk Theatre where she designed props and sets as well as costumes. She also acted in several productions.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw Street, Lansing with Rev. Rae L. Franke officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 10-11 AM at the Tiffany Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Janet?s memory may be made to Lansing Civic Players Guild or the Riverwalk Theatre.
