Janice Kay Woodard

Janice K. Woodard, 64, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2017 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born in Lansing on August 10, 1953 and spent much of her life in the Lansing area. She worked for Celink as a data entry specialist for 30 years. When Janice wasn’t at work, she loved to spend time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids… and play video games on her two phones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Woodard and her mother, Lydia Thompson. Janice will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Ronald (Barb Laumann Bohné) Turner, Frederick (Melissa) Turner, and James (Stacy) Vanous; her daughter, Monique (Russell) Bohanon; her fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and her brother, Butch Turner and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 11am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 5pm until 7pm. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing.
