Jerold Joseph Potts, age 58 passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born August 19, 1966, in Muncie, Indiana to Kenneth and Mary (Young) Potts. Jerry graduated from Mason High School, Worsham College of Mortuary Science, and Sienna Heights University. He worked as a funeral director for many years in Lansing and Jackson.
Surviving are his children, Ashlynne, Kenneth, and Andrew Potts; sister, Sue (Bob) Bauer; niece, Trisha Bauer; nephew, Bobby Bauer; great-nieces and nephews, Landen, Brayden, and Hailee. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ron and Tom.
In keeping with his wishes cremation rites have been accorded and a graveside service will be held at a later date at South Jackson Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his parents.
