Joann J. "JoJo" Cantine

Joann Jean (JoJo) Cantine, 71, of Lansing went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2015. She was born in Lansing, Michigan on April 14, 1944 to Larry and Cleone (Anderson) Titmus. She graduated from Lansing Eastern High School and Lansing Business Institute. She retired from the St. Lawrence Campus of Sparrow Hospital in 2009 where she was the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Volunteer Services for over 30 years. Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Pete, of 31 years whom she married in 1969; her parents Larry and Cleone Titmus; and brother-in-law John Loeffler. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Jo (Aaron) Herrbach; grandson, Nicholas James; sisters, Kristine Loeffler and Nancy Titmus; nieces, Susie (Terry) Jones, Lisa (Brent) Collins; great-nieces, Hannah Jones, Olivia Jones, Camryn Drake, Emma Drake and Sage Collins; twelve cousins; and many treasured friends. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends and always made each celebration a joyous occasion. Her love of life was extended to everyone she came in contact with and infected everyone with her witty sense of humor. Her artistic gifts were evident in her floral arrangements and jewelry creations. She adored her dogs Nikki, Mindy and Sadie and her cats Zoe and Niko. The family would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the staff and owners of Gunnisonville Meadows Assisted Living Facility for its kind and compassionate care of JoJo over the last two years and her end of life journey. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the funeral home.
