John Strudwick

John was born to Allen and Emma Strudwick in Greene County Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert; and two sisters. John is survived by one daughter, Molly Emma Henderson of Huntsville, Alabama; three sons, Allen (Surena) Strudwick, John Strudwick, Jr., and Arthur (Tracy) Strudwick, all of Lansing, Michigan; and four generations of grandchildren.

John moved to Lansing, Michigan in the early nineteen fifties. He spent over fifty years in the construction trade as a carpenter. He retired from Michigan Carpenters Local #1004 in 1990. He was active in his faith for over 45 years as one of Jehovah's witnesses, going door-to-door canvassing on a regular basis well into his nineties. His favorite past-time activities were reading the Bible and witnessing to people. He had many friends in the greater Lansing area. He will be greatly missed. Funeral Services are 11:00 AM Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Elder Derek Pearson officiating.
