He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Roslyn K. James; his sister, Jada James; grandparents, Maxine & Oscar Washington, and Margie James; his companion, Geena Talamatez; his son, Elias James; friend, Olivia Talamatez; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Joshua was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jake James, Jr.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 27, 2012 in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, MI 48917 with Pastor James E. Robinson officiating. Family Hour will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Friday prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to an Education Fund for Joshua's son, Elias.
