Joyce Ann Salisbury, age 85, of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Joyce was born in Lansing, Michigan to the late Louis and Nina VanWormer and was the second oldest of 4 children. Joyce attended Eastern High School and ended up marrying her fourth grade class mate, Clarence Salisbury, the two were married for 63 wonderful years.
Joyce was not only a homemaker, but an outstanding mother and raised five children. Joyce attended church throughout the years, and her faith stayed strong and a core value to her.
Joyce is preceded in passing by her parents, Louis and Nina VanWormer, siblings Junior VanWormer, Eunice Holbrook, and Eugene VanWormer, and her Aunt Erma.
The family that is left to remember and cherish Joyce are her husband of 63 years, Clarence Salisbury, children, Martin Salisbury (Maria), Bonnie Dunn, Elizabeth Peck (Bob), Karen Krish (Russel), and Esther Salisbury, grandchildren Michael Cardona (Grace), Stephanie Bentley (Ben), Natalie Peck, Laura McElhaney (Adam), Annalia Krish, Edison Krish (Kennadie), Jessica Salisbury, Martin Salisbury Jr. (Leah), Mark Salisbury (Yecenia), Matthew Salisbury, Maverick Salisbury, Derrick Dunn, Scott Dunn, Kaley Krish, and Caleb Krish, as well as 9 loving great-grandchildren.
